A Theological Observation from an Earth Worshipers View.

Theology is one of my FAVORITE subjects, so I can't stay out of this one. I, personally am not a Christian, and was lucky enough to have parents that are students of spirituality and therefore, never hindered my own private spiritual path or Way. I read some one said that most religions require suffering and denial of a VERY natural tendency. I will agree that most major and organized ones do. But what about BEFORE all this "civilization"? There was a time we danced naked in the fields happy to thank the Goddess for a fruitful Harvest, or a gift of selfless love in Spring to the Goddess to show that we are no better than ANY of her creatures. What is wrong with this innocence?????? What is wrong with staying the ground of the older "religion" in witch we make up no sins to be forgiven in the first place!!! Did you know the Greeks did not even have a WORD for "sin" till post AD (today it is After the Common Era)!!!  So yes, most of us have been brain washed by the most unintentional means, hidden as good up-bringing. 

    Lets use some logic: In any of your experiences has any thing advertised as the One True Solution, ever BEEN the one true solution??? NOT EVEN CLOSE!!!!!! So take that a step farther and feel free to bring that thought full circle. I know we will all have different answers, that is the beauty of The Way - or each persons Path. All this good and evil does nothing but promote more of a gap in thinking and people....Tao te Ching is great reading on this! Hell even a shrink would tell you that labeling is a bad start on mental health. 

In my Way the creed is: Do as Ye will, but Harm None. That is it, the only "RULE" I live by. (Just never tell my 2 year old that!!!) 

In my heart I KNOW I have helped  many people and yes, even clients. The coming together of 2 souls can be the most beautiful, innocent and enlightening thing that can happen. It helps me to know I am healing old wounds or giving a fresh outlook, perhaps some inspiration to find that thread in yourself that will lead you to YOUR Way......To me that transcends all misconceptions that people have through out time. 

To me anything other than an Earth based religion is not quite logical....Take the Greek Gods, we look at them as Myth, and today more and more scholars are looking at the Christian religion in the same light. A group of Myths to help little old man kind wrap his brain around what is happening to him, when in reality everything that has happened to us as humans we bring on ourselves. In the old testament the recent Tsunami would have been retribution on the grandest of scales. Today we simply see the tragedy of what happened and all pull together to help. I, at least have not heard any one saying that the unfaithful were being punished. What malarkey!!!! Now take all this from an Earth view.....This is our home, and lets face it, we don't treat her right. She is telling us to be a bit better to her. And reminding us that we are only renters in her beautiful home. And trust me, the Human Race is NOT getting their deposit back! We rape and pillage her every day, but the powers that be want every one to look at all these tiny problems so they can keep raping and pillaging. In turn our children and there's will be cleaning up our trash, and MANY other messes. If, that is, they can see beyond this "supposedly" Divine Gift that they are, even now, being told is theirs to also rape and plunder. I don't believe in The End Days and think is is unhealthy to do so!!! For centuries we have all these people that think the world is going to end and the best way to ride it out is to get as rich of Mother Earth as possible and leave the problems to the next generation....There is serious FAULT IN THIS LOGIC.......The Earth is still here and worse of than She has been in a very LONG time.....She will continue to be here, even if the Human race takes a header off the planet...... 

PLEASE, don't let any one else's idea of "sin" shadow what has been natural since long before the more Modern Teachers walked this ball of rock. I respect all of your views, and your plight to a better spiritual you. I am not trying to say do what ever you want, cuz you can.....I am just saying there is MORE out there than fire and brimstone. And that is is OK to explore the spiritual as well as the physical. Even Ben Franklin had a great view on this, believing that any gift to "God" that is given is a good thing and who are we to judge being simple mortals? 

  And  go beyond religion read some Lau-tzu!! Learn that action can be achieved through non-action. Learn that we don't even need names for deities, as we simply CAN NOT understand them....and that it is totally OK to be utterly clueless. In a way that is more honest to yourself, but that statement is my personal opinion.

   To those of you that took the time to read this, thank you! I had so much fun writing it <smiles>. I hope my long winded and quite passionate feelings don't seem to harsh, for acceptance is a BIG step in life. While I am quite passionate about my Path, as it sounds like many of you are, I respect the Paths of others, as I know no 2 paths are the same, but often lead to a similar place of understanding.
